Making and controlling revisions

- [Instructor] Just because you're using Revit now, doesn't necessarily mean you'll never have revisions again. Let's jump into how we cloud a revised area, and control which revisions are active and what sheets they're on. While we're at it, let's automatically fill in the revision schedule. To get started, let's scroll down to Sheets All. Let's go to Floor Plan One, FP101, Sprinker Plan. Let's go to the View tab. Let's click on the Revisions button. Notice that we have one revision in here. Let's give it date. Let's call it 08-29-2013. For the description, we'll call it Oops. Let's add another one. Let's call it 8-30-2013. And we can just keep that as Revision 2. Click Apply and then click OK. It doesn't seem like we've done much, but we've set the stage to start revising some items. For example, if we're screwing on the pipe that goes to nowhere, that's probably a revision. On the Annotate tab, go ahead and select the Revision Cloud button.
