- [Instructor] So, the first thing we do at the start of any MEP project is link in another trade. Generally, there's almost no exception to this, so that's what I want to do. Let's jump into Revit, and I'm going to browse to where I'm keeping my exercise files, I'll find my Electrical Project. I'd like to open that up. Of course, keep in mind that you can use any project that you want. Now that we're in Revit, it really doesn't matter what view we're in, as long as it's not a drafting view or a sheet. Let's go to the Insert tab. Let's click Link Revit. Again, browse to where you're keeping your exercise files. Let's find Architectural.rvt. Now, for the positioning, the default is set for Auto - Origin to Origin, but we do have other choices. For this course, we're going to use Auto - Origin to Origin, which is mainly the positioning that you would generally use. Let's click Open. Excellent.
