- [Instructor] So, I supposed you have some old, auto-CAD details laying around that you need to throw away because you're using Revit now. Ha, don't worry, you don't have to quite do that yet. As a matter of fact, you can use them directly in Revit. Let's take a look at importing CAD. We'll first import an auto CAD detail then query it's information. Then we'll explode it and see what we can do. Let's click on Revit Workflow-02. Remember this drafting view? Let's create a new one. Let's go to view. Let's click on drafting view. Let's call it TYPICAL AHU, all caps. T, Y, P, I, C, A, L, A, H, U. The scale, I think it's 12 to one. You have to know the scale of the auto CAD drawing you're bringing in or it's going to blow up. Click OK. Let's go to insert. Let's go to import CAD. Browse to your Revit Workflow, and I'm going to grab this detail 101. Colors. If I'm going to put this on a sheet, I'll go black and white.
