- Let's see how to migrate an entire system over to fabrication parts, shall we? What's going to happen is, if there are items such as air terminals, VAVs, or even flex ducts, there's no fabrication parts for that so instead of breaking Revit will ignore the non-participating components but will still allow the connections to occur. The objective of this video is to model an intact supply system and convert it over to a pile of fabrication parts, then we'll add some accessories. To get started let's jump into Revit, under projects let's go to mechanical template. I want to bring in an architectural model so I'm going to go to insert, then I'd like to click on link revit. Browse to where you're keeping your exercise files and open up the architectural model. Select the model, let's pin it down, let's click edit type. I want to make sure we turn on room bounding.
