Customizing panel schedules

[Narrator] Panels are mostly what you see is what you get. But there are some modifications we can make to them. With the default panel schedule in place, I'd like to go to the manage tab and drill into the panel schedule we're using and see if we can make it look better. So, let's go into Revit. Under projects let's go open. Browse through where you're keeping your exercise files and I'm gonna grab my edit panel and click open. And here we have a couple panel schedules, we remember that. Let's go to the manage tab. Let's go over to panel schedule templates and let's go to edit a template. Instead of our branch panel for the template type, let's go down to data panel. Now let's click open. Now, notice that we can start to add parameters. For one, the location. This is just a piece of text, but notice that we all of this that we can work with. Let's go underneath the location and let's add a parameter. So, let's click into here. So, for choose category let's go project information…
