Creating a system
- [Instructor] Once you start getting into systems for Waterside components, you'll quickly find that Revit will automatically create a system for you, that's good and bad. It's good in the fact that it literally takes two seconds to identify and name a system, it's bad in the respect that it can prove to be a little difficult to move an item from one predefined system to another. Let's create a mechanical system, a domestic system, a sanitary system, and a hydronic system, shall we? First thing we want to do is let's make sure that we're in our floor plan plumbing, floor plans, one plumbing. The first thing I want to do is zoom in on my mechanical room. I'm going to select this one pump. I'm going to click on piping systems. I'm going to select edit system, system equipment, I'm going to select the other pump. For the system name, I'm going to call it condensate pump, and I'm going to hit Apply. I'm going to hit Escape. I'm going to click on finish editing system. Let's go to our…
