Creating a system
- [Instructor] Once you start getting in the systems for waterside components, you'll quickly find that Revit will automatically create a system for you. That's good and bad. It's good in the fact that it literally takes two seconds to identify and name a system. It's bad in the respect that it can prove to be a little difficult to move an item from one predefined system to another. Let's do it, let's make some systems. Let's click on Plumbing Project-05. Let's go to our ENLARGED MECHANICAL ROOM. I'm going to select this pump right here. Notice that I can go to Piping Systems. Let's click on Edit System. Let's click on Select Equipment. I'm going to pick on this piece of equipment that's part of it. For the System Name, I'll just call it condensate pump, and I'll click Apply. I can click on Finish Editing System. Now I'll see when I select this pump, I go to Piping Systems, it's going to select everything that's on that system. Kind of neat. Comes over to our pipe here and selects it.…
