Creating sprinkler pipe types

- [Instructor] I want to model some mains, but before I do that, I want to look at how to create a brand new pipe system. I want to go to Ceiling Plan, 1-Ceiling Sprinkler. Now on my Systems tab, I going to click on my Pipe button. Now I have Pipe Type Standard. I'm going to click on Edit Type. I'm going to duplicate this and I'm going to call it Threaded. Now I'm going to click OK. Now I want to dig into my Routing Preferences, so I'm going to click on Edit. I'm going to change a couple things here, but then we're going to load a bunch of families from here. My Pipe Segment, I'm going to click the drop-down. I'm going to scroll to the bottom and I'm going to go Steel, Carbon. My minimum size in 15 millimeters. My maximum size, I'm going to hit my drop-down. I'm going to crank it up to 600 millimeters. Now what I want to do is click on Load Family. I'm going to go to Pipe. I'm going to go to Fittings. I'm going to go to Malleable Iron. Class 150. Threaded. I'm going to hit Control-A…
