Creating floor plans

- [Instructor] Now that we know how to create floor plans using the view tab. Let's look at how we duplicate views. The objective of this video is to create a few more ceiling plans using our view tab. Then we're going to duplicate them and make some other views that are useful. Let's jump into Revit. Under projects let's go open. I'm going to browse where I'm keeping my exercise files. I'm going to grab electrical project five. Let's click open. It doesn't really matter what floor plan we start off on. But if we notice we have electrical lighting floor plan and we also have ceiling plan I want to make some ceiling plan. So. Let's go the view tab. Go to plan view. Notice that we can make reflective ceiling plan. So let's go ahead and click that. Again, our missing levels are here. We can uncheck roof, 'cause we don't need a roof ceiling plan, that would just be silly. Click ok. Now the problem is they just go somewhere weird.
