Creating a circuit
- [Instructor] If you have the panels and receptacles in place, circuit unit is actually pretty easy once you get used to it. This is one of those tasks that just takes a little getting used to. Without a circuit, you can pretty much forget about populating the panel schedule, that's for sure. So let's concentrate on gathering up the components that are going to be in on a specific panel, and let's see how those items will show up in the panel schedule. So to get started, we'll jump into Revit. Under projects, we'll click open. I'm going to browse through where I'm keeping my creating a circuit, electrical project_circuit file. And we'll click open. Now we have our receptacles in place. We have our panel in place. Now it's just time to just guide our receptacles to our panel. And again, if you select the receptacle, it's ready to know the panel and the circuit number, we just have to tell it the panel and the circuit number. So hit Escape a couple of times.
