- [Instructor] As I mentioned before, once you've converted or optimized a typical Revit system into Fabrication Parts, there's no turning back. That's okay though, 'cause we have an entire menu of parts to choose from. This video will have us adding elements using the Fabrication Parts menu, as opposed to creating traditional Revit components and then converting them over. Let's jump in to Revit. Under Projects, lets go to our Mechanical Template. The next step is to load our Fabrication Parts. If you go to Systems, you can either click this button here, or down here, you can go to Settings as well, either way, it's the same dialog. For Fabrication configurations, lets go down the Revit MEP Imperial V2.1. I'm going to grab all this Ductwork stuff, now I'm going to click Add, I'll click OK. Now it loads it in. Notice that we have a bunch of parts to choose from. Now what's going to happen is, once we start modeling, if we click Straight, of course we can change the sizes right here…
