Adding zones and heating and cooling loads

- [Instructor] Since we know how to add spaces to our model, zones are the next step. What zones do, is they combine spaces to make, well, one big zone. But with that, we can combine all of the heating and cooling data, and then run reports on it. So to get started, let's jump into Revit, and in Projects, let's go Open. I'm going to go to my Mechanical Project heating and cooling, and I'm going to click Open. What I'd like to do, is kind of focus down in this area. But let's go to Mechanical, HVAC, Floor Plans, 1 - Mech. In this area here, I want to add four spaces. So we go to the Analyze tab, click on Space, we'll pick a space here, here, here, and here. It used to be, we had to do some tricks to get these to have the room name and number, but now all we got to do is go to Space Naming, just click OK, and they are named. Let's click a dropdown here and look at some of the stuff. Area and Volume Computations, go ahead and select this. I like to have Areas and Volumes, Room Area…
