Join Eric Wing for an in-depth discussion in this video Adding supply duct, part of Revit 2020: Essential Training for MEP (Metric).
- [Instructor] Now that we've got some equipment…in from the larger rooftop unit to the smaller…VAVs and my smallest air terminals, we can start…to connect the dots.…What would be cool is if I could align this VAV…to make it so it hits dead-center of the duct…that I'm going to have to run all the way down…through the core of the building.…So let's jump into mechanical project three.…Under HVAC floor plans, let's climb up to level roof.…
Now, let's make it so we can see all the way…down to our VAV.…To do that, we're going to go to the properties of the view.…Let's scroll down in the properties 'til we find view range.…But notice that it's grayed out.…So let's scroll down a little bit further…for view template instead of mechanical plan.…Let's click on none and hit okay.…Now, let's scroll back up a little bit.…And for our view range, now we click edit.…
For the bottom, let's go unlimited.…For the view depth level, let's go unlimited.…That means we're looking all the way down into our model.…Click okay.…That's a lot of stuff, but that's okay.…
