From the course: Revit 2021: Essential Training for MEP
Adding sanitary sloped piping
- [Instructor] Okay, let's draw some sloped sanitary piping. Let's jump in the Plumbing Project-02. Let's scroll down to 1 - Plumbing - Callout 1. Zoom into this area right over here. Select your toilet. Notice that you have a sanitary pipe, click it. Couple things I want to do, for the Pipe Type, let's put it on PVC DWV. Over here, we need to make some changes. It won't really matter for this one, but let's click Inherit Elevation, Change Slope, and make sure we slope down, and that slope value wants to be 1/8 inch equals 12 inches. That'll come up to about here. I'm going to come in maybe at a 45 degree angle, and it's sloping downward. Maybe, I'll come down to about here. I'm going to come straight down to here. Maybe, I'm going to drop it down drastically here, so now my Middle Elevation, I'm going to make it like minus one foot. We probably won't be able to see it now as we drop it, that's okay. Pick a point…
