Adding panels
- [Instructor] In Revit, you'll find that it kind of works downstream. One thing leads to another. What I mean by that is we have receptacles in our model already, but we can't circuit them. Why not? Well, because we don't have a panel to circuit them to. The objective of this video is to bring in a panel, give it a name, and check out the distribution system. In Revit, I have my electrical project panels model open. Let's zoom in on this area here. I'm not sure what the room name is, but we're going to figure it out, actually, through the properties of the panel we're going to put in here. To bring in a panel, let's go to the Systems tab. On the electrical panel, let's click Electrical Equipment. In the Object Type Selector, notice that we have a bunch of panels loaded in, but I don't really like these 'cause I know they're recessed. I want a surface-mounted panel. To do that, let's click Load Family. Let's browse…
