Adding cable tray
- [Instructor] I love it that Revit has cable tray. Let's just jump in and run some. Under projects, let's go to open, browse where you're keeping your exercise files, I'm going to grab Electrical Project_cabletray. Let's click open. Let's scroll down to our level one callout one power plan. And that's bothering me, so let's rename it. I'm going to click right onto here, and click again, nice new feature in Revit is that we can do that. Let's call it electrical room. Hit enter, we might well increase the scale. Instead of 1/8th inch equals a foot, let's crank it up to 1/2 inch equals a foot. 'K, let's run some cable tray. First thing I want to do is look at some of my heights. So I'm going to select this conduit, that's at 10 feet. I'm going to go to my section. And I'm going to take a measurement from my ceiling. So I'm going to click on the measure between two references. I'm going to grab the top of that ceiling, to the floor, and it's eight feet. Let's go back to electrical room…
