Adding Insulation

- [Instructor] We did put a lot of duct in there, but one thing that scares me is when we run a clash detection we might not really be clashing on the real stuff that's in there. In this video, I'd like to add insulation to our ducts. Jump in the Mechanical Project 08. Under HVAC I'm going to go to Floor Plans, Level One. Let's zoom in on our stuff and oh, boy that floor pattern's going to get us again. Let's TYPE V + G. Let's scroll down to Floors. Let's click Override for patterns and let's turn both the foreground and background off. Let's click Okay. It's hidden, hidden. Hit Okay. So much better. We'll zoom in on our ducts. Notice that I have my thin lines on. You can turn 'em on or off. I'm going to keep them thin. So, I'm going to hover over this piece of duct, hit by Tab key a couple times. I'm going to select it. I'm going to click Add Insulation. Insulation type, I'm going to go rigid fiberboard. I'm going to make it 1.5 inches. Notice that we can Edit Type. This will bring…
