Why is content important?
- Before we start digging into the content items that we might want to include in our project template, we should probably take a few minutes to talk about why content is important. To help us do that, let's talk about where we've come from. Perhaps you've watched the previous three creating Revit templates courses. We had the annotation course, we had the system setting course, and we had the views and sheets. In each of those, we focused on different aspects of creating your template. All can be considered important to an overall template. I think in a lot of ways, the choices you make in content are probably the most important of all. Anything that you do with the content items in your file really makes the difference between how your projects are received. When we talk about the content, we're mainly focusing on the loadable items in this course. We looked at the system family items in the system settings course.
