Welcome

- [Paul] When working in the building information modeling paradigm, long established norms of dealing with everyday project items like construction phases and design schemes must be approached a little differently. Using layering schemes or saving multiple copies of a project file are not practical ways to manage such items when working in Revit. Now, fortunately for us, Revit has tools dedicated to these tasks for us to use. When we wish to convey how the project will transform over time from existing conditions through the various stages of new construction, we have phasing, and when we wish to explore and communicate alternate design schemes, we have design options. Hi, I'm Paul F. Aubin, and if you want to learn how to leverage the phasing and design options toolsets in your own projects, then join me for my LinkedIn learning course where we'll not only look at each tool set independently, but we'll see ways that they can be utilized together. This course is suitable for both Revit and Revit LT, and so, let's dive right in and begin exploring Revit: Phasing and Design Options.
