- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to look at the properties palette. You're going to interact with the properties palette on a frequent basis both when you're creating elements and when you're modifying existing ones. So it's a good idea to get familiar with the properties palette and how it behaves. Now let's first start with where the properties palette is. By default, it's on the left hand side of the screen, directly above the project browser. Now yours might be in a different location. It could be below the project browser. It could be on the right hand side of the screen. It might even be on a totally different monitor, if you have two monitors attached to your computer. It's very common for folks to move where these various palettes are located. If you don't see the properties palette on any of your screens, then what you want to do is of to the view tab over here, click on the user interface dropdown, and make sure that propertied is checked.
