Using the modify tools
- [Instructor] In this video, I'm going to continue working on my two bedroom condominium layout, and I'm going to focus specifically on some of our modification tools like move, copy, and trim. So if I go to the modify tab, all the tools we're going to talk about are here on this modify panel. Now we're not going to look at all of them right now, but we're going to look at some of the more common ones. So let's start with the basic move command. So here's the button right here, and the shortcut for it is m + v. Now what I'm going to do is just hover over that, and I'm going to let the tool tip expand out. And notice that most of these modify tools actually have an animated tool tip. So I think it's a pretty good idea for you to let each of the animations play in their entirety because you can actually learn a lot about how the command functions just by watching those quick little animations.
