Join Brian Myers for an in-depth discussion in this video Setting up standard sheets, part of Designing Home Plans with Revit.
- These are steps to set up our sheets…and adjust our sheet information.…Underneath the Project Browser if we scroll down,…one of the categories will be Sheets.…And we can see that right now…we have sheets A101, A102, and A103.…What I'd like to do is start by renaming…sheet A101 from being Unnamed…to Floor Plans.…So just right click where it has the A101,…then go to Rename.…
When you do, you'll get this little Sheet Title dialog box.…From here we can either change the sheet number,…or we can change the sheet name.…A101 is what I want this sheet to be numbered,…but it needs to be called Floor Plans.…When you rename it Floor Plans click on Okay.…You'll notice that it changes here…underneath the Project Browser,…but it also changes that piece of information…over in your title block on the sheet.…In fact, if we just zoom in…by spinning the wheel of the mouse,…we'll be able to find Floor Plans…over in the title block.…
The same thing applies if we make a change…inside of our sheet itself.…To see that, let's come over here to A102 Unnamed…
