Join Brian Myers for an in-depth discussion in this video Printing, part of Designing Home Plans with Revit.
- To print your Revit projects we first need to come up…to the big R, which is the applications menu.…After clicking on the big R…come down to Print, and then select on Print.…This'll open up the Print dialog box…and the first thing that you'll find is your Printer Name.…And if you have multiple printers available…you can just click and then choose…the appropriate printer off of the list.…The Properties over to the right hand side of that…will be the Properties of your printer driver,…so that will be specific to whatever…the printer is that you've selected.…
This is your typical Windows printer settings.…For the most part you won't need to go into there…unless you need to add additional sheet sizes,…such as a 24 by 36 inch,…or maybe a 30 by 42 inch size sheet of paper,…and that'll vary depending on what kind of printer…or plotter that you have selected.…As far as settings that Revit can control…one of the options is File.…If you're printing to a PDF…that's were you'll get the option…to either Combine multiple view and sheets…
