- [Instructor] The next thing that we'll do is place lights here inside of our floor plan. Now it's important to remember that unless it's a light that happens to be sitting on a desk or on the floor, the light is usually up on the ceiling. Because lights are up there on the ceiling, that means you don't want to be in a floor plan view, instead you want to be in a ceiling plan view. In this case, I happen to be in the first floor floor plan. Let's start by placing some lights on a ceiling, here inside of our kitchen area. Let's zoom in to the kitchen, then there's a couple of different places where we can get our light fixtures from. The first area is the same area where we've been able to get most of our items. And that's underneath the architecture tab and selecting on component. After selecting on component, here underneath properties on the type selector list, you can filter through until you can find any of your light fixtures.
