- Now that your work on System Settings is complete you might want to save this as a template file. To do that is fairly simple, you go to the Application Menu, under Save As, you choose Template, browse to the location where you'd like to keep the file and give it a name. This will create a Revit RTE file. When it's saved, you can close out of there and give it to your users and they will be able to create new projects using the new command from that template. Be on the lookout for the next course in the series, Creating Revit Templates: Views and Sheets. There we'll look at several issues around creating Standard Views and Standard Sheets for your projects. If you'd like to learn more about Revit in general, we have lots of courses here in the lynda.com library such as the Construction Modeling Tools or the Design Options in Revit, so feel free to check some of those out. Thanks very much and I'll see you in the next course.
