Modifying Ceilings

- In this video, let's talk about some of the things we can do to manipulate an existing ceiling. Now, one of the most obvious things you might want to do is consider the orientation and position of the grid itself. Now, that wouldn't really come into play with these drywall ceilings in the toilet rooms, but when we consider the 600 by 600, or the 600 by 1200 millimeter grid patterns that we have in most of the spaces, you may or may not like the orientation or spacing that was given there. So, what I'm going to do is just kind of zoom in over here on the right to talk about this. Now, the first thing you'll notice is that Revit tries to center the grid pattern within the space, so if you kind of compare the distance here to the distance here, you can see that they're about the same and the same running vertically as well.
