- In the last few movies we've taken some time to talk about different approaches you can use to start your standard template. Regardless of the approach you choose, the next thing you probably want to consider is the kind of work your firm does. Many firms specialize in certain kinds of building projects. If your firm only does schools, for example, your template will probably look very different than a firm that does mostly hospitals. The idea is that with each type of building, you can predict certain aspects that might be repeatable. In which you can therefore include in your template to save time. This also means that you might have more than one template for your firm if you do both schools and hospitals. So, in this movie I'd like to start with things like levels and grids. Levels and grids may not seem like the kind of stuff you would include in a template but it absolutely can be, again depending on the kind of work that you do.
