Generative design in Revit
- [Instructor] Design options is all about creating multiple schemes to solve a potential design problem. And in this video, I wanted to share with you an alternative approach that we have, which is something called generative design. Now this is a cloud based tool that has been introduced to Revit recently that's available to subscription customers. So if you don't have access to this tool, you might want to get with your Autodesk reseller and figure out how you can adjust your subscription so that you can get access to it. But what the generative design tool allows you to do is set up a series of rules and criteria that your design needs to meet and then use the tool to generate several different schemes. So I thought I would mention it here in the context of design options because it has similar goals to design options. We're just leveraging the computer too, as a resource to help us generate our various schemes…
