Finalizing your template
- So you're finally ready to save your file and turn it into a Revit template file. Well, you're not really ready. It's never really finished. They'll always be something more you have to check or finalize or update. So, the first thing you want to do is go through everything you've done and just do one last final check and kind of make sure you're satisfied. But then there's one or two little less obvious things that you also want to look at as well and the one I kind of want to focus on is numbering. So I'm going to open up a level one floor plan here and zoom in and let's talk about numbered objects. So I'll just grab one of my doors here and this is the first door that I added to this model. When I scroll down here on properties you can see that it's got a door Mark of one. Now if I click on some other doors, that one's a door Mark of two, this one's three and I believe this was the last one I added and that's door Mark number 7.
