Customizing the title block
- In this movie we're going to talk about title blocks. Every firm has their own custom title block that they use on the sheets in their projects. Sometimes there's one title block that's used most commonly and other times there's several title blocks depending on the kind of project or who the client is and so on. So whether you have one title block or 20, you'll want to get those title blocks in Revit and customized to suit your office standards as early as possible. So I'm in a file here called Title Block and we're just simply going to go through the steps involved in creating a custom title block. Now rarely do you have to start these things from scratch. You can open up an exiting title block and modify it. But if you want, you can also go to New, Family and create a totally blank title block and customize it to suit you firm needs.
