Creating footings

- [Instructor] Now we need to place the footings underneath these foundation walls that we just created in the previous lessons. While technically they can be placed here inside of a plain view, I actually prefer to place them in a 3D view. So select on the little default 3D view button icon, so that we can see our building in 3D. Then, I usually hold down the shift key on the keyboard as well as the wheel of the mouse, and then spin the building around so that we can see all the walls that are here on the bottom of the building. To find our footings, we go underneath the structure tab on the ribbon, and from here we can see that we have a foundation option. And one of those options is for wall, meaning that that's the kind of footing that goes underneath the wall. And that's what we want. So go ahead and select on wall. Underneath properties here, we can see that we have two different kinds of wall foundations available to us. A 30 by 12 and a 36 by 12. And these foundation footings…
