Creating exterior elevation views

- [Brian] Placing exterior elevations is almost identical placing interior elevations. If you go to the view tab, then select on elevation. Underneath properties, one of the things that you would probably would want to do is actually change your elevation symbol from being an interior elevation symbol to being what I call an exterior elevation symbol. In this case, it's just being called building elevation. And just like the interior elevation symbols, any wall that you get close to, that's the wall those interior elevations by default will try to point to. You'll notice that as I bring this box all the way around, it's always pointing toward whatever the closest wall is to it. Then if I would click in order to place this exterior elevation, it would then create an elevation of that wall or part of the building that that arrow is pointing toward.
