- [Instructor] Occasionally I get asked, how do I create an enlarged floor plan view in Revit? Now if you're on the first floor, floor plan, what you can do is just click inside of the view and then spin the wheel of your mouse. And one of the things that you'll know is that sometimes areas like bathrooms or kitchens are really so small that if you tried to put all the notes, all the texts, all the dimensions inside of these spaces without creating another view, which is larger, it would really be impossible to get all that information there in the small view and still be able to communicate your design intent. So to create an enlarged area, you need to create a callout, and we can find your callouts underneath the View tab. Then there's an option here for Callout. Now there's two different kinds of callouts that you can do. One is considered a sketch callout, which allows you to do a callout of different shapes so it's not just a rectangular shape.
