Creating detail views
- [Instructor] A detail view tends to be a view that has a higher level of detail associated with it. Usually that means that it's zoomed in so that you can see the construction more easily. Let's start by going here to our First Floor plan and then spinning the wheel of our mouse down here near the Master Bedroom area. Next, click here on our section and you can either double-click, where you have this circuit apart, or just right-click and then Go to View to go to your section view. Now, right now, we can see that it's a 3/4 of an inch equals a foot, and if we zoom in, we can see multiple layers and materials which are already here in place, and that includes this insulation here on the inside of the wall. But this is a rather large view and I really want to just create a detail view of nothing more than just this top section of our Wall Section. So to create a detail view, we'll once again come up here to where we have our Callout tool. Then underneath Properties, click, and then…
