In a lot of cases, we don't just mail a flat freeze board to the face of our roof. Sometimes we want something a little more decorative. We can certainly accommodate that in Revit. The objective of this video is to create a hosted family profile that will serve both as a roof extension, a crown moulding, and a fascia place all in one happy family. We'll then create a new roof fascia, assign a material, and we're off. So to get started, let's open up our Revit roof model, or of course, whatever model you're working on. Let's start a new Family by clicking the purple R Program button. Let's go New. Let's go to Family. Let's scroll down til we find profile hosted. Let's click Open. Now, what I want to do is just start sketching a profile. I'm not going to be that exact. I just want to give you the example. So, let's begin with using a line. So, click the Line button.
