Adding skylights and curbing

Sometimes it sure seems a waste, to not let some natural light into our building, from a roof. The problem is, we avoid skylights because they leak. Perhaps we can find one from the manufacturer that won't. The objective of this video is to add some skylights, that are going to cut a hole through our roof. The hidden objective of this video is to get you looking beyond your C drive or network to find a manufacturer skylight with curving and everything. So to get started, let's open up our Revit rooves project, or any project that you want to put a skylight into. Let's go to our Insert tab, let's click the Load Family button. Let's go to the directory where you keep your exercise files. I'm going to go to my skylights folder. I'm going to grab the Windows Skylight Valex Cap. I'm going to click Open. Now what we need to do is go to the Architecture tab. If you download a skylight from the manufacturer, it can be either a Window or a Component. I know for a fact that this skylight…
