Adding legend views
- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to create a graphical legend to represent each of the door types within our project. To do so, we're going to use a special drafting view type, called a legend view and take advantage of a special component called legend components. So let's take a look at the process here. So I'm going to go to the view tab and click the legends dropdown and choose legend. This will ask me for a name. So you could type in anything you like, I'm going to type door types. And you can choose any scale, but I'll accept the default of one to 50 and click okay. This will create a blank view. This is very much like a drafting view, so it's not connected to anything in the model and you could draw anything you want here. Now if I scroll down in the project browser, you're going to see a legends branch, and if I expand that, you'll see there's our door types legend.
