Adding doors
- [Instructor] In this video let's add some doors to our model. Now doors are what we call a hosted element, so when we start placing doors they will require a wall host, so we're going to see that on screen. So the door tool is right here on the architecture tab and D R is the short cut. When I click that, this is what I mean by hosted element. Notice when I move my cursor into the space it has that not symbol there telling me that I can't place a door but if my cursor was on top of a wall then it would sense that wall host and allow me to place the door. Now before I start placing doors, let's take a look at what's loaded here in this particular file. So if you look at the type selector list here, you could see that there's actually three families. There's a bi-fold family and then two different versions of a flushed door family. So I want to place the door to the entrance of the condo over here first so I want to use this 900 millimeter size right there for that purpose. So once…
