dimensions but I'm going to focus on permanent dimensions and specifically those I need for documentation purposes. So up until now, we've used dimensions as really an editing tool. So even when we've placed permanent dimensions, we've been placing them with the idea of let's use this dimension in order to move geometry, manipulate geometry So when it comes time to actually dimensioning your floor plans or your elevations or your sections, you're going to use that same dimension tool that we've been using right along to create those dimensions. So I'm working in a floor plan but all of these techniques will work equally well in any kind of view. Next, I'm going to come up here and choose the dimension tool or type D I and you can also find it on the annotate tab. Now, what I want to do is just sort of remind you of the basics first.
