Join Matt Piper for an in-depth discussion in this video Using EQ, part of Up and Running with Reason 7.
The EQ section in the Reason mixer is a powerful EQ that's a real pleasure to use.…Once you calibrate your ears, eyes, and fingers…with this EQ section, you'll find that you're…able to dial in the exact sound that…you're looking for with not a lot of effort.…It's a really fast way to work.…I have folded the parts of the mixer that I don't need to see right now.…So we don't see…the inserts and we don't see the effects.…We can see EQ section from top to bottom and the mutes in the fader section.…
So, I'm going to work on the EQ on…this track, and I'm going to work pretty quick and…dirty, just to show you the main idea of…how the different parts of the EQ section work.…We can work with this EQ section with or without the spectrum EQ window.…But if we want to see it,…we can either click one of those buttons, like I just did, or press the F2 key.…And then with this, Follow Selection box checked, as it is by default.…As I click on different channels, in the mixer you'll…see that the spectrum EQ display changes to show that channel.…
