Record with the virtual guitar and bass amplifiers: Learning Reason 9
Record with the virtual guitar and bass amplifiers: Learning Reason 9

Reason 9 comes with a virtual Softube guitar amp device as well as a Softube bass amp device. These devices emulate the sound of preamps sections from several popular styles and types of amplifiers, as well as the sound of several different speaker cabinet types, so that a guitar or bass plugged directly into your audio interface can sound as though it was recorded with a microphone in front of an amplifier and speaker. Audio engineer and multi-instrumentalist Matt Piper explains how to use these virtual amplifiers, demonstrates various tones that are available, and shows you how to record a live guitar track using the Softube guitar amp device.
