- Now let's take a look at some techniques that I use in my own workflow. These are techniques that are specific to Ableton Live in combination with the reason rack plugin. There's some really cool things that you can do and let's get started. So in this movie we're going to go ahead and build a custom instrument rack that combines instruments from the reason rack as well as those built in Ableton Live. I'm just going to go to instruments and I'm going to choose instrument rack and I'm going to drag a blank empty instrument rack to a mini track. And then let's go to our plugins. I'm going to go to the reason rack plugin here and I'm just going to drag that and drop it right into the instrument rack. For this one, let's also choose grain sample manipulator.
