Make music like a pro with Reason

- The latest version of Reason comes with some exciting updates and one I've been waiting for for a long time. That's the ability to use Reason's wide variety of instruments and effects inside another dock, like Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton Live, and many others. Reason's instruments and effects can help you make music quickly and the cabling and patching workflow emulates some classic synthesis techniques found on hardware instruments. In this course, you'll learn about new workflows in the latest version of Reason, as well as some of my own techniques for getting creative using Reason as a plugin in Ableton Live. You'll learn about midi editing, adding audio crossfades, using curved automation, and explore Reason's new devices, like quartet chorus ensemble, sweeper modulation, and hybrid scenic instrument. Along the way, I'll give you a quick overview of some of the essentials for editing and navigation of Reason, for those that are newer to its workflow. I'm Nate Mars, I'm a producer based in New York. Join me as we dive into Reason on LinkedIn Learning.
