Load Reason into a DAW

- [Instructor] Okay, so I have a default session for Ableton Live open here, and we have our two standard midi tracks and our two audio tracks. I'm going to go ahead and just open the browser here and go to Plugins. I'll pick an audio unit. You can either use audio unit or VST. I'm going to go to Reason Studios, and then, you see, if I expand this, we have Reason Rack Plugin, and then we also have Reason Rack Plugin Effect. So there is a difference on how these different instances of Reason can be used. If I were to go ahead and drag the Reason Rack Plugin on an audio track, you can see at the bottom, Ableton Live is telling me, only audio effects can be inserted into an audio track. So, what that means is basically, the Reason Rack Plugin is meant to go on a midi track. And I just dragged it on the midi track, and you see, we have the Rack opening right up.
