Channel EQ

- Now we're going to take a look at the Channel EQ in the latest version of Reason. But yes, I have Ableton Live open and I have loaded up a drum break here. (Upbeat drum beat) Cool, so I have this is in MIDI so it's triggering samples. We're going to start to move over to some of the aspects for using Reason as a plug-in and we're going to get to a whole other chapter on that covering some more advanced things you can do with Reason as a plug-in. But for now, let's go ahead and add the channel EQ. So the channel EQ is found in Audio Units or VST plug-ins, Reason Studios. I'm going to choose Reason Rack Plug-in Effect. I'm going to put that at the end of my signal here. You see it's opened up the Reason Rack Plug-in Effect so that I can use all the effects in Reason right in a different DAW that I choose. This could be Ableton, this could be Protools, this could be Logic. But I'm going to pull up the Channel EQ and…
