Join Garrick Chow for an in-depth discussion in this video Using the Text Markup tools, part of Learning Acrobat Reader DC.
- Previously, we looked at the sticky note tool…for adding comments to a PDF document.…Now let's take a look at Acrobat Reader's…Text Markup tools.…Now I should have mentioned that…in reality, how you use any of these tools…is entirely up to you.…You can use any of the commenting tools…to indicate a change that you want to make.…For example, you could just use the note tool…exclusively, and place it next to the text…that you want to have changed.…But you'll probably find that some of these tools…will get your point across more effectively.…The next tool here is the highlighter.…Selecting it turns my mouse cursor…into a selection cursor,…and all you have to do is drag across…the text you want to highlight,…and I'll just drag across some text,…and when I release, you can see…it's been highlighted in yellow,…just like a real highlighter on paper.…
But unlike with a real highlighter,…you can also add a note explaining why…you highlighted the text.…Just double click the highlight,…and type your note.…And again, the note text appears here…
