In this video Emmanuel Henri shows you where to get more information on the React developer tool, how to install it and what comes with this amazing extension. He also goes through a few useful commands available.
- [Instructor] One of the first tools I go to when…developing React components is the React Developer Tool.…It's an extension available for Chrome,…Firefox, and also as a stand-alone download.…Let's go ahead and install it.…First let's go to github.com/facebook/react-devtools.…Here you can get all the information needed to get started,…as well as a down the links for all the different versions.…So, if you scroll down to the section…where you have the installation packages,…you can see the Chrome extension, Firefox extension,…and if you want to use something else,…you have the Standalone app.…
So, in our case, we're going to use the Chrome extension.…Then click ADD TO CHROME, click Add extension,…and now it's added.…So let's just make sure that we reload our browser…just to make sure that it works properly.…So, quit your browser completely and open it again,…and then let's go back to our application.…So it's, localhost:3000, and then you see the React,…and hit the developer tools again…and you should see React right here.…
