(upbeat music) - React is a JavaScript library for building user interfaces. And it is everywhere. You'll see it used on your favorite social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. You'll also see it used on content delivery platforms like Netflix and Spotify. And you'll also see it in developer tools like React Native, Gatsby, and Next.js. In this course we're going to focus on the fundamentals so you can jump into working on your own React projects right away. My name is Eve Porcello. I'm a software developer and a teacher. I have created courses about React. I've built apps with React. I've even written a book about React. I really like React a lot. Knowing React has helped my career tremendously. And I think it'll help you with yours. Now is a great time to start your journey with React and to get busy building modern web applications.
