In this course, I used the ES 2015 version of the syntax. Next, being familiar with terminal commands and npm isn't a must, but will definitely help you when we use these tools. As you'll see, I'm running on a Mac, but you can follow along on a PC as well, as the tools work exactly the same on both platforms. You won't necessarily need to run the project on a device, as you can see a simulated VR environment on your browser. But if you use a device like the gear VR, it will make the experience that much sweeter and it will allow you to fully appreciate VR.
Also, I'm using VS Code as my code editor, but feel free to use whatever tool you prefer, although I recommend using an editor with a built-in terminal. And finally, you don't need experience with 3D or WebGL, but if you do have some, it may make your experience a little easier.
