Build an app that allows users to share their meals. In this video, get an overview of the application being built.
- [Instructor] In this course, we'll be building a simple meal discovery app where users can dine somewhere, take a picture of their meal, and share it, so others can know how good the dish is that you posted. React Native apps can run on both Android and iOS simulators. Throughout this course, we'll be loading our app into the iOS Simulator mostly, but the same principles apply for Android. To use the simulators, you'll need Android Development Kit or Xcode installed. We won't be covering the setup process for those in this course, but there are plenty of other courses available to help you with setting up the latest versions.
